AFRIKA SKI RACE IS STARTING

IN THE BEAUTIFUL SHARM EL SHEIKH

Sharm El Sheikh – The first edition of Afrika Ski Race – the “three days” of ski roll in Egypt – starts today (Wednesday) with the “long distance” race from Naama Bay to Sharm El Sheikh, ending at Domina Coral Bay.

Exceptional cast of athletes at the start, with the Olympic gold medal of Salt Lake , Andrus Veerpalu, with “Zorro” Christian Zorzi and some athletes of the cross country and long distance Italian national teams.

Together with Veerpalu and Zorzi will also compete Fabio Santus, Roberto De Zolt, Marco Cattaneo, the winner of FIS Marathon Cup Lara Peyrot and the “azzurre” Arianna Follis, Magda Genuin and Cristina Paluselli. It will be hard for the other participants, at this point, to hope to have chances of reaching the first positions.

Tomorrow the “sprint” race will take place in the beautiful village of Naama Bay, on Friday the “american race” at the Domina Coral Bay will conclude the program of this edition of Afrika Ski Race.
