Milan,16 September, 2025 – The most anticipated sporting event of 2026 is coming, and nothing can compare to experiencing it live. The stage will be set for Milano Cortina 2026 on 6 February 2026, with the Opening Ceremony at the San Siro Olympic Stadium in Milan. A unique show that will kick off the Olympic Winter Games, returning to Italy twenty years after Torino 2006. Attending live will create memories that will last forever.

On Tuesday, 16 September, starting at 4 p.m., additional Category D tickets - more affordable range -  will be available for the event that will inaugurate the XXV Olympic Winter Games. Regardless there will be tickets in all categories, catering for all needs.

The Opening Ceremony, will be directed by Marco Balich and will be a celebration of sport and the Italian spirit, in a show of light, sound, and colour. An event to see, hear, and experience firsthand in the stands of the Milanese stadium.

The official channels for purchasing tickets

The Milano Cortina 2026 Ticketing Programme, together with the On Location Hospitality Programme, are the only official and secure sources for purchasing tickets for the upcoming Italian Winter Olympics and Paralympics.  

By purchasing tickets or Hospitality packages outside the official platform, the buyer runs the risk that the tickets or packages will not be delivered or that they will be canceled by the Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee according to the terms and conditions provided.  

Each user will be able to purchase up to a maximum of 4 tickets, which will be completely digital.

In line with their long-standing partnership with the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Visa will be the official payment method.

All tickets to attend the Milano Cortina 2026 competitions are strictly nominative.
